The Foshan High-tech Zone Innovation Lighthouse community construction project is planned to cover an area of about 76 hectares (1136.88 acres). Through the construction of a number of high-end carriers such as enterprise service centers, R&D headquarters, incubation platforms, scientific research centers, etc., to fully build a "Scenery of Mountains and Waters, Science and Technology Innovation Core" "Beacon of innovation-driven development in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area." It will give full play to the demonstration and leading role of the innovative "polar core", gather new technologies, new industries and new kinetic energy, and build it into a true representative of high-tech industrial parks in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and a "beacon" for innovation-driven development.
At present, the project has been approved by the Foshan Municipal Government and has been included in the city's key projects.
Kuang Dongming introduced that in order to lay out ahead of schedule and create an atmosphere for innovative industries, the Innovation Beacon Community and the surrounding excellent national incubators, such as the Research Institute of Guangzhou University of Technology, jointly introduced scientific and technological innovation projects. The initial stage of the project is mainly cultivated in the national incubator. After the completion of the construction of the innovative lighthouse community, the intentional cultivation projects can be given priority to settle in.
"Foshan High-tech Zone provides companies with a platform for exchanges and learning, and it also supports funds and talents. At the same time, Foshan, as a large manufacturing city, has a broad market for product applications." Foshan Nibo Microelectronics, who participated in the signing ceremony Zhou Zhanbo, general manager of the company, revealed that the Foshan company was established last year, mainly focusing on the production, design and sales of power semiconductor MOSFETs and IGBTs. The company is expected to achieve revenue of 30 million yuan in the next three years.
As one of the incubators for cultivation projects, the Guangxi University of Technology Research Institute has introduced a total of 303 domestic and foreign high-end talents and incubated 206 technology research and development enterprises, 28 of which have been recognized as high-end enterprises. Yang Haidong, Dean of the Research Institute of Guangzhou University of Technology, said that he hopes that in the future, through the reserve project model, it will help Foshan High-tech Zone to cultivate 5-10 companies listed on the Science and Technology Innovation Board.
The Twelfth Plenary Session of the 12th Foshan Municipal Party Committee proposed that Foshan should improve the strategic support system of science and technology innovation platforms, and further play the leading role of major innovation platform carriers such as Sanlong Bay and Foshan High-tech Zone.
"Next, the well-developed state-level incubators in the high-tech zone will be combined to form a systematic reserve base, which will be distributed in different incubators according to the different industrial characteristics of the project."
